Congratulations on your NCIDQ Certification Gina Walton!
FACET would like to extend a huge congratulations to Senior Architectural Designer and Product Specialist, Gina Walton on earning her National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) Certification!
The NCIDQ Certification recognizes an interior designer’s education, experience, and commitment to the profession and has been the global standard for interior design professionals for more than 40 years. The NCIDQ Examination is comprised of three sections: Fundamentals (IDFX), Professional (IDPX), and Practicum (PRAC) and each candidate must take and pass all three sections within the specific eligibility timeline to earn the NCIDQ Certificate.
“I am so glad I invested in myself and committed to doing what it took to get my NCIDQ certification. It’s been a long time coming. I am happy, relieved, and ecstatic that I have passed. I can’t wait to see what new challenges await me,” Gina tells us.
Gina Walton earned her Bachelor of Science in Housing and Interior Design from Missouri State University and has over 23 years of industry experience, the last 8 of which have been with CASCO/R|5 Design Agency. She has been a key player in her time with us as a project leader with extensive experience in schematic design, design development, construction documents, project management, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE). In addition to all her hard work on client projects, she is actively involved with company organizations including EDG committee, an employee group that focuses on company culture and internal networking, Women in Leadership, an employee group that focuses on empowering women within the company to take on leadership opportunities and networking with other women in the industry, and is on the Professional Development Committee, which focuses on bringing in vendor representatives and organizing continuing education seminars for our staff. Furthermore, she is a member of the International Design Association (IIDA), an organization that supports design professionals and advocates for advancements in education, design excellence, legislation, leadership, accreditation, and community outreach to increase value and understanding of the interior design profession.
This is quite the accomplishment, and we are so proud of Gina Walton for earning this certification!
